1. What holiday catering packages do you offer for businesses and families
Mama Fatma does not offer pre-set "Holiday Box" packages (like a traditional Turkey dinner). Instead, they offer customizable Turkish Feasts.
For Families: The Stuffed Lamb Ribs (Kuzu Kaburga Dolması) is the ultimate holidayshowstopper (serves 5+), acting as a unique alternative to a roast turkey.
For Businesses: Mix Kebab Combos (serves 4-5 per platter) are perfect for sharing, accompanied by trays of Pide and Mezzes.
2. Do your menus include both Western and Mediterranean holiday options?
Primarily Mediterranean/Turkish. They do notserve traditional Western holiday dishes like Roast Turkey, Ham, or Stuffing. The experience they offer is a distinct "Taste of Anatolia,"featuring charcoal-grilled meats, rice pilaf, and traditional pastries, providing a flavorful alternative for your holiday gathering.
3. Are all holiday meals freshly prepared by Mama Fatma?
Yes. All food is prepared fresh in their commercial kitchen by their team of professional chefs. For large specialty items like the Lamb Ribs, they require 48 hours notice to ensure it is marinated and slow-cooked to perfection for your event.
4. Do you offer delivery, pickup, and full-service options?
Yes, all three are available.
Pickup: You can pick up your order hot from the Mississauga location.
Delivery: They deliver across the GTA.
Full-Service: For larger holiday parties, they provide staff, setup, and serving equipment.
5. Can you provide bartending or drink packages for holiday parties?
No Bartending (Alcohol-Free). Since Mama Fatma is a Halal establishment, they strictly do not serve or cater alcohol.
Alternative: They offer a Tea & Coffee Station (Turkish Tea/Coffee) or refreshing non-alcoholic beverages like Ayran, Şalgam, and sodas.
6. Is table setup and décor included for holiday events?
Setup: Yes, if you book "Full-Service Catering," they handle the buffet or food station setup.
Décor: No. They focus on the food presentation (garnishes, servingware). Holiday-specific decorations (Christmas trees, ornaments, New Year balloons) must be arranged by the client.
7. Do you accommodate halal and kosher dietary needs?
Halal: Yes, Absolutely. The entire menu is 100% Halal certified, making it safe for all Muslim guests.
Kosher: No. They are not Kosher certified. While some guests who keep Kosher might eat Halal (depending on their strictness), the establishment itself holds only Halal certification.
8. What is the minimum order size for a holiday catering package
There is no strict minimum guest countlisted. You can order a single Mix Kebab Combo for a small family gathering or enough food for a corporate office of 100 people.
9. Can you handle last-minute holiday party requests?
Standard Menu: Likely yes, for items like Kebabs and Pides, they can accommodate relatively short notice (depending on kitchen volume).
Specialty Items: No. The Stuffed Lamb Ribs (Kuzu Kaburga) strictly require 48 hours notice. For the busy holiday season (Dec 24-31), booking 1-2 weeks in advance is highly recommended to guarantee delivery slots.
